ADCA App Submit

Here you can submit your application for the Android Devcamp Challenge.
All submisions must be a ZIP file containing at least 2 files: A PDF and the actual application. Check out the Rules before submitting.

PDF

The PDF should contain:

  • The name of the application.
  • The name(s) of the developpers
  • Contact details (email and phone) of at least 1 of the developpers
  • A small explanation of the application
  • At least 2 screenshots of the application
  • Preferably an URL with more information about the application
  • Information about the licence and planned price model for the application

Application

You can send us an unsigned (or a signed one) .APK file with your application. If you'r using Eclipse, this is generated on every compile. The process for creating such a file (or a signed one) is outlined at http://code.google.com/intl/nl-NL/android/devel/sign-publish.html

Other contents

It can be smart to include a high resolution logo for your application (if you have one) in the zip file. However this is not part of the requirements, and not a selection criterium for winning.

Process

The submission deadline is 26th of Jan 2009 09:00 (AM, Dutch time). The winners will be anounced on the 29th of Jan.

Prizes for all

All submitted apps(that work) are communicated on T-Mobile microsite. This site will be communicated by T-Mobile

Prizes for the winning 5:

  • a G1 for the developers(max 2) + free subscription for a year
  • Presentation of app at T-Mobile press conference on the 29th of January
  • Inclusion of the app in the T-Mobile G1 campaign
  • One return ticket to San Francisco for the very best app.

Rules - English

  • Any fiscal consequences following from these incentives will not be the responsiblity of T-Mobile.
  • All decisions are final and non-negotiable.
  • T-Mobile has the right to change these conditions if deemed nescasarry
  • Participants have to be at least 18 years old
  • Participation is done by uploading your application at http://androiddevcamp.nl/adcaappsubmit/
  • When the rules of this contest aren't followed, the participant will be disqualified
  • T-Mobile won't become owner of the applications, and won't give any guarantees on the submitted applications
  • The winners will be anounced at 29 jan 2009. Winners will be contacted personally
  • Winning applications will also be announced at http://www.t-mobile.nl/g1 and can be anounced for publicity purposes
  • From the participating applications the winning ones will be chosen by an independent jury.
  • Each winning app development team can win a maximum of 2 T-Mobile G1s.
  • When unclear, the Dutch version of these rules applies.

Voorwaarden - Dutch

  • Eventuele fiscale consequenties ten gevolge van deze incentive kunnen nimmer op T-Mobile worden verhaald;
  • Over de uitslag van de actie kan niet worden gecorrespondeerd;
  • T-Mobile behoudt zich het recht voor om de voorwaarden te wijzigen indien nodig;
  • Deelnemers dienen minimaal 18 jaar oud te zijn.
  • Deelname vindt plaats door uw inzending in te sturen via http://androiddevcamp.nl/adcaappsubmit/
  • Wanneer de bepalingen van deze Wedstrijdvoorwaarden niet nageleefd of in acht genomen worden, of overtreden worden zal de Inzending worden geannuleerd en worden uitgesloten van deelname.
  • T-Mobile wordt noch eigenaar van de applicaties en draagt géén verantwoordelijkheid voor de eventuele schade welke wordt veroorzaakt door het installeren van de applicatie.
  • De uitslag wordt bekendgemaakt op 29 januari 2009. De winnaars worden persoonlijk op de hoogte gesteld.
  • De winnende applicaties worden tevens vermeld op http://www.t-mobile.nl/g1 en kunnen worden gebruikt voor publiciteitsdoeleinden.
  • Uit de inzendingen worden de winnende applicaties gekozen door een onafhankelijke jury.
  • Per winnende applicatie worden maximaal 2 T-Mobile G1's verstrekt.
